I’m just another propeller hat wearing geek with a website and an opinion (what’s that joke about a-holes and opinions?). My day job is in IT and I spend my days working with routers, switches, servers and sans (not to mention voip, video, sql, exchange ….).
Squishnet was started by me and a couple other geeks. Remember the heady days of the pre-dot com Internet? Yeah well we were going to make buckets of money off some fabulous idea for the site. You can guess how that all went.
Since then I’ve mainly used the site to practice html, php, asp, apache, sql and whatever else I happened to be playing with. Technology changes so fast that if you’re not learning you’re dying. Take a look at the way back machine if you want to see some truly crappy web design over the years.
I’ve put some posts on the site which might be helpful to someone. I they help you that is great. If it borks your stuff…..well that is what you get you go around listening to random people that claim to know something on the internet.
